Ogden Raptors Pro Baseball

Ogden Raptors are Ogden’s only minor league baseball team – and they’re a lot of fun! The Raptors play on one of the most amazing baseball fields with a view of the mountains and the Ogden temple. The view of the mountains from home plate has been called one of the best in baseball. 2016 is the 20th anniversary of Lindquist Field where the Raptors play. They are affiliated with the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Going to a Raptors game is a fun family activity, date night, reward for your employees or team, and more! Our insurance agent has sponsored a night at the park for years, so we always go. We try to make a few games every season. Even though I’m not the biggest baseball fan there is, I love the social aspect, getting hot dogs and being outside in the summer with my family. I also like supporting a local business that has been a part of our community for over 20 years. Plus, it’s a place you can bring a big group, be loud and crazy and have a lot of fun.

The Raptors play at Lindquist Field, 2330 Lincoln Avenue in Ogden, Utah. Game start times are Mon-Sat 7:00pm, Sun 4:00pm. Some games have special performances, deals or fireworks.

Ogden Raptors Tickets

If you buy pre-season, you can save big on Ogden Raptors tickets. Starting in February the Raptors start to sell pre-season vouchers. You can get a voucher that can be exchanged for a box seat, for just $8/seat. Regular prices per seat (general admission) are $12. So if you plan ahead you can save a lot! Bring the voucher to the box office after the season starts (June 1).

If you want to sponsor or get season tickets, please call Dave Baggott at 801-393-2400 and tell him that you read about it on Fruit Heights Friends blog (or Janet Thaeler).

Ogden Raptors Schedule

The first home game is Friday, June 20, 2016 and it’s against the Here’s the rest of the Ogden Raptors Schedule.

A little history: The Raptors are part of the Pioneer League, which was established as a C-level minor league in 1939, with teams from Idaho and Utah. It was a 6-team set-up that featured 4 Independent ball clubs. The teams in the first season of the Pioneer League in 1939 were – the Boise Pilots (Independent), the Lewiston (Idaho) Indians (Independent), the Ogden Reds (a Cincinnati Reds’ farm team), the Pocatello Cardinals (a St. Louis Cardinals’ farm team), the Salt Lake City Bees (Independent), and the Twin Falls Cowboys (Independent). One of those cities – Ogden, Utah – has a team in the present-day Pioneer League [the Ogden Raptors].

I got to meet Dave, the Raptors owners this January and their official photographer. Here’s Dave telling you to check out this great deal on Ogden Raptors tickets.
