The Best High Protein Low Carb Protein Powder

This post was most recently updated on August 16th, 2019

Are you looking for low carb protein powder that dissolves well and tastes good?

Whether you’re diabetic, on a keto diet (or any low carb diet) or just want to stay full longer, protein powder is a quick, easy way to get more protein. Drinking it daily can help you control your blood sugar, build muscle or even lose weight.

For years I’ve used protein powder to stick to a diet. To stop eating so much sugar. And to eat healthier on on the run.

My friend who is diabetic and is on the road a lot was blown away at the low carb count on this protein powder – less than a gram! I let him try some I’d mixed in water so he could try it. And guess what? He loved it as much as I do!

Drink it straight or add it to your protein shakes, smoothies, yogurt, pancakes and more. Me? I want it quick and as easy as possible. So I mix it in water and drink it down.

Keep reading if you want to learn more about how it can help you…but first, the links to this protein powder go to my personal site and if you order from it I’ll earn a commission. It doesn’t cost you a cent more and means I can review other products that have improved my life and might help you too. Thank you.

Low Carb Protein Powder

Replace sugary snacks and sweets, so you feel fuller longer and have more energy with this keto friendly protein powder.

Whey protein is the highest protein content you can buy. Whey protein isolate is the purest form of whey protein plus has the advantage of almost zero carbohydrates per scoop.

I finally found the best high protein low carb protein powder. Here are some more facts about it:

  • Low calories (only 60 per serving!)
  • No fat
  • No sugars (uses stevia)
  • Gluten free
  • No artificial color, ingredients or sweeteners
  • Lactose free
  • 15 grams of protein (the max your body can absorb at once)

Plus it tastes good! This protein powder is vanilla flavor. Some people like to mix it in milk. I prefer to mix it in water. It’s so fast on the go and one scoop keeps me full for 2 hours. Plus it has vitamins. Plus, look at this short ingredient list (they’re usually really long with a lot of junk).

Ingredients List

Notice how short this list is. It’s not full of long gobbley gook. Normally the list on these products is so long and complicated (lots of chemicals).

Ingredients: Whey Protein Isolate, Coconut Water, Vitamin Blend, Natural Flavors, Stevia, Gum Blend (Xanthan Gum, Orange Fiber, Tara Gum).

Each serving is just 60 calories.

Here’s a video with the developer of this protein powder – it’s a short intro that talks about how it was formulated including how it’s made with dehydrated coconut water.

Want some? Go to this site and click on the link that says “Supplement store” at the top of the page.

The link above goes to my site and it’s the only way I know of to order it so it’s not on autoship or an MLM model. If you want to order it that way, you can (message me) but I prefer to order retail.

How to get protein powder to dissolve

Before I found this low carb protein powder, the biggest problem I’ve had is they don’t dissolve well in liquid. So you get clumps You pretty much have to use a blender and usually ice to make it dissolve.

LivPro 15 dissolves the easiest and fastest of any protein powder I’ve ever tried. You just put it in water and stir or shake. No need for a blender bottle. I just stir it with a spoon. Plus, no clumps!!!

Absorbs rapidly

LivPro 15 was made to absorb fast so you have almost instant energy when you need it.

I really love that I’m starving and instead of going to a drive through and trying to find something healthy, I can just add a scoop to my water bottle, shake and I’m satisfied almost immediately.

I used to carry a blender with me on vacations, now I just pack several containers or pre measured scoops or just put the bag into my suitcase. Breakfast is tough on the road and often really high carb, not to mention, pricey!

When I’m in the car and can’t stop to eat this is what gets me by. I always have a jug of water on hand in my car to make it easy (I get the $1 jug from the Dollar Store). I keep a bag of protein powder in my car. If I’m not driving, I pre measure a scoop in these containers and it’s easy to drink on the go (like at a conference or meeting).

It’s a lot quicker and cheaper than the drive through!

Genetics Weight Loss Test – The Foundation of Knowing How Much Protein to Eat or Drink

If you want to know how much exercise, what your heart rate needs to be, and how to eat for your body to lose weight and how much protein you need, this post talks about my experience with the genetics test for weight loss. It’s the foundation of what I’m doing.

Understanding your metabolism is the key to improving it. Trying to lose weight without knowing how your body works is really hard. To avoid wasted time or energy on a myriad of dieting strategies, the first step is to gain a good understanding of your individual metabolism. This test helped me do that. However, just making a goal to drink a glass of protein each day helped me before I knew why.

If I follow the recommendations from my test, I lose weight. I’m one of those people who needs more protein to loose weight and this protein powder is a big part of that.

Here are 5 Ways to Use Vanilla Protein Powder

  • Stir the powder into low-calorie beverages like almond milk, smoothies or powdered drink mixes. Or just add to water.
  • Add to pancakes
  • Make protein ball snacks out of it
  • Mix small amounts of protein powder into your yogurt or oatmeal.
  • Stir in sugar-free, flavored pudding mixes, add spices like cinnamon to enhance or change the flavor.

After reading this if you try this amazing protein powder I’m so happy I found, I’d love to hear what works best for you and how you like it. Just leave a comment. I read every comment and will respond. Thank you!
